Mrs. Edith Burlingame, wife of Robert Burlingame, died Friday (July 17, 1964) at the family home, in East Cuba, after a long illness.

She was born Nov. 23, 1887 on Haskell Flats, a daughter of the late Dana and Lillian Snyder Hedden. She was a member of the Maplehurst Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. E. E. (Louise) Hopkins of Olean; Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Hirsch, Allegany; Mrs. Walter (Evelyn) Gifford, Jamestown; and Mrs. Donald (Donna) Kent, Hinsdale; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. beginning at 7 this evening at the Loveridge Funeral Home, Cuba where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday (July 20, 1964). Burial will be in Hinsdale Cemetery at Maplehurst.
