Computers I have always been interested in computers and have worked in the computer field for about 10 years now. Here are some links that I find useful. |
Genealogy I became interested in genealogy after my daughter, Rachel, was born. I have been doing it now for about 6 years and have accumulated quite a bit of data thanks to the generosity of numerous cousins. |

Golf I took up golf when I moved to Pennsylvania in 1992. I played quite a bit for a while but then along came the kids and the mortgage. I only get out a couple of times a year now but still enjoy the game. |
Movies & TV I started watching Penn State football when Kerry Collins was the QB. He went to H.S. in the Reading area and was in the paper quite a bit. After Kerry left I stayed a fan and try to watch them every weekend. |

Refereeing I started officiating basketball in the fall of 1984. I retired from the sport in 1999 after 15 years. I had enough of the belligerent coaches and fans. I took up soccer officiating in 1995 and was selected to officiate the Pennsylvania District 11 Final in 1998. I was the first official from my chapter selected to work a District Final. In the fall of 2001 I was selected along with two other officials from my chapter to officiate a girls quarter-final game in the State Tournament. |
Soccer Back in my youth I tried out for a midget football team. I didn't make the team, but the football coach suggested to my dad that instead of me sitting home that fall that maybe I would be interested in soccer. He was right and I never tried out for another football team. I played from age 7 until age 28 when I took up officiating and coaching soccer. I started all three years of high school and all four years of college. Soccer is a great sport and I was always glad that I didn't make that midget football team! |
